Barbecue Solutions Ltd - IT Solutions for a heated industry

Welcome...

Our Mission

“We aim to provide our customers simple affordable technological services suited to their individual needs.”

About Us

Founded in 2005, Barbecue Solutions Ltd began life primarily as a PC vendor, but with interests in Website Design, Website Hosting and Backup Solutions amongst many others. Filled with great ambition we have progressed so that now we are able to offer our customers great web hosting packages along with optional design and maintenance services. We also decided to integrate our available storage space with the backup idea to allow us to offer a remote backup service. And don't forget we still sell PC's!

Our Vision

Like most businesses we have great ambition and a vision to help us proceed into the future. We aim to improve the user experience making websites easily updatable for our customers, saving them money because they will be able to make changes themselves without any technical knowledge. We want to increase the usefulness of our remote backup system to include file storage facilities, making files downloadable from anywhere with nothing more complicated than a web browser. We also want to branch further into the realms of software development, initially for our own purposes but eventually to create programs that will compliment our other services.

Thank You!
The Barbecue Solutions Team

Windows Vista  Are you ready for Microsoft Windows Vista? Released in late January, Vista has made quite an initial impression! With a wonderfully improved GUI named Aero utilising your 3D hardware to give a smoother experience and new entertainment features such as Windows DVD Maker and Windows Picture Gallery. Don't forget the games! DirectX 10 changes the way windows games use 3D to provide better graphics and a more immersive gaming experience on compatible hardware.
Apple  Apple Mac OS X Leopard officially delayed! Apple have officially stated that the pending release of Mac OS X, expected at the WDC in June, won't be released until October. The reason for this delay is the new iPhone, which is also being released in June but has required Apple to shift developer resources in order to finish it on time at the expense of Leopard. Lets hope they put in plenty of unannounced tasty features to make it up to us!
tux  Red Hat working with Nokia on carrier-grade telecoms products. Nokia's Networks Business Group selected Red Hat Enterprise Linux to be the primary operating system for its carrier-grade server platforms. Nokia will focus Red Hat Linux deployment on its FlexiPlatform, completing full integration with Red Hat Enterprise Linux on multiple hardware variants in 2007.
PS3  Join our Folding@Home Team! A protein folding project run by Stanford University, CA helping to understand how proteins fold and the reasons for mis-folding, which cause diseases such as Alzheimer's or Huntington's. All you need is a little piece of software available from folding.stanford.edu (available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X) and our team number 49666. And remember to pick a username that’s unique in our team. We have our own stats page so check it out. Also remember that you can get the client for Sony's Playstation 3. Thanks for helping!
recycle  Recycle that clapped out old P3. We now have a dedicated PC recycling department, where we will take your old computers and dispose of them in an environmentally friendly way. Computers contain many dangerous elements like mercury that pollute the ground and so can't be simply "thrown away". Barbecue Solutions is proud to be able to offer this service to help keep your environment the way nature intended - email recycling@barbecuesolutions.co.uk for more info.
